INDEPENDENT SCORING GUIDE
Noillirk scoring explained
Noillirk places each accepted answer on a prepared popularity board. The answer's rank sets its base points; the Daily question number sets the multiplier.
The five answer bands
| Band | Place on the board | Base points |
|---|---|---|
| #1 Answer | First | 100 |
| Runner-up | Second or third | 75 |
| Top 5 | Fourth or fifth | 50 |
| Top 10 | Sixth to tenth | 25 |
| Off the Board | Accepted, outside the top ten | 10 |
A refused answer can be replaced while time remains. Passing or running out of time earns zero for that prompt.
Daily multipliers
Questions 1–2 count ×1, 3–5 count ×2, 6–8 count ×3, and 9–10 count ×4. Multiply the base points in the table by that prompt's multiplier. A Runner-up on question 4 scores 75 × 2 = 150 points; a #1 Answer on question 10 scores 100 × 4 = 400.
The highest possible Daily score is 2,500 points: ten #1 answers across all four multiplier groups. The answer board is a prepared estimate, rather than a live vote that changes as players submit guesses.
How to use the result
Compare your answer with the revealed top five. A correct but unusual answer can score only 10 base points, while a broad, familiar answer can land much higher. The official European-capital example places Paris first, London in Runner-up, Berlin in Top 5, Amsterdam in Top 10, and Skopje Off the Board. Actual rankings depend on the prompt and its prepared board.
